Lesson: Vaccination and Public Health
Compulsory vaccination
We live in a world where vaccinations have become a supported topic throughout the healthcare system and politically in the United States, but our "perfect system" is all but perfect. Posters hanging about across the hallways of hospitals and the nurses's office in school, supporting the notion of being "free of disease". PTA meetings with soccer mom's and other guardians discussing their social discussion on "who vaccinated their child", and etc.
The question that arises in my head sounds more like "Are we really safe? This sounds like a propagandic social stunt than anything." I don't think all vaccinations should be mandatory, rather they could offer options for parents who are concerned about their child's health. Though the many companies offering these vaccinations have their claims, the backlash is more than enough for others to see the other side of the coin.
In the perspective of capitalism and big businesses that run our country, it looks like a handshake between those who are keeping us in line by to pushing certain drugs into our veins, and a fat check with lots of zero's at the end for the other side. The country might as well be a blowup version of Colonia... Okay, maybe not that extreme, but who knows?
You know my take on this whole thing. Show me it’s effective and I’ll buy in, but show me CDC coverups and manipulated data and I’ll fight it tooth and nail.
