Bionic Dreams (Final Blog) - Week 14 - Biophysics

Lesson: Bionics and our Biophysical Future

Military use

I fully support the use of bionic technology in order to help those who are suffering major bodily injuries and difficulty in physical recovery. Alike the article we have read in class, the use of bionic technology may accelerate the healing process of the body, as well as bring life back to those who feel as though they are "incomplete".
Though I cannot feel entirely empathize with someone who has lost a limb or suffered a life-changing accident, I can vouch for modern technology helping those individuals in any way possible. The timeline of prosthetics have evolved greatly over the course of decades and we are living in a fortunate age of science and technology such as AI, and complex nanobots.

The use of bionic technology found in the military seems quite inevitable. As much as I would like for this to not be the case, the industry is far too suggestive to those who wish be the reigning champion of this world. The products will be sold to buying countries, and used in order to advance to their end goals.
Even the Marvel universe with Tony Stark, the use of bionic technology was quickly prompted for "the sake of the safety of our country". As the decades roll on, technology will revolutionize human life and change it for the better or for the worst.
