Hmmmmm - Week 5 - Biology

Lesson: The Pattern and Complexity of Life
Common Ancestors from Europe
Gaia Theory

"Our common ancestors with chimps may be from Europe, not Africa."

It does not strike me as out of the ordinary to believe that our lineage has come from Europe. With the theory of Pangea coming into mind, Europe and Africa are not too far as neighbors. It would be understandable to think that our ancestors would have been able to walk across the borders of the continents with tenacity in order to survive certain life-threatening events back then.
Biologically, it would be a fair game to see that we have even the smallest of percentages of European dna within our blueprints.

I very much agree with the Gaia Theory- that of the Earth being alive.
There is no doubt that the Earth breathes alike us. As the very essence of soil, ash and air circulates between all living things, with the planet as the foundation.
